"with great powers, comes the responsibility"
مگر یہ پاکستانی منحوس میڈیا پر لاگو نہیں ہوتا!

لعنت ہمارے میڈیا پر!

Ghajni

Yeah you read that right but I am not gonna talk about that Indian movie instead I am gonna talk about our people who have a very short memory like Amir Khan in that movie had.

I know many who'd read this would be driving crazy, keeping in mind I am not associated with any of the parties in Pakistan nor I believe in sectarian based, linguistic based, or relation based politics. They say it's democracy than if you do wrong than bear the music.

There are group of so called a particular family, who rules over Sindhi's claim if Sindhi's don't support them than Sindh would be divided, for god's sake man! You're believing on those people who were gifted lands and other remunerations by the englishmen when they left Subcontinent? Who were left as their associates after they leave the South Asia? Please guys, do listen to your heart but with these people, use your mind. It won't be hurting them if you die in the same position you were born, till they are happy with themselves, look on the broader perspective, they amount they have given to Pakistan, in return how much have they taken from Pakistan? Do you guys have any idea? That's why, be Sindhi not a coward, Sindhis had a tradition to be loyal, sincere and steadfast, and they had a tendency to stand against injustice, I am not saying we're good but still we're sincere with ourselves.

Look at Israni's and Ambani's, they come from this vary land, now just see they used themselves in positive manner where tey stand now, and here are you who have been deprived of opportunities and only get one what is left off them. Were you guys like that in History? Just think about your past and compare it with present and imagine a future if you guys are under them.

Peace!

Blame games

Lack of Education and apart from the lack of Maturity in thinking has been exposed during 3 continuous days of torrential raining in Karachi and the whole province of Sindh. I am not saying this as I am also a Muslim but the matter of fact that some people here are wobbling that "Allah ka Azaab hai yeh, apny Aamaal ki maafi mango" transliteration: This is the curse of Allah, pray him for your forgiveness.

I say this is just one of the minute reasons, the majority of reasons are scattered on the grounds, which are being ignored and overlooked by us, including mismanagement, fore-seeing the problems already in the city, unnecessary encroachments and building infrastructures without planning, in rainy seasons we got to know how prematurely they were built, with no exit points for storm water drainages, plus taking no care of the slopes. I myself faced the catastrophe on Saturday when had to walk almost 19 kilometers on my foot as near Quaid-e-Azam Mazar where I was stranded as my bike magnet chamber was badly soaked with weeds and water, plus the water was flowing that way that it made me felt that I am not inside Karachi city but on the Karachi city beach. Therefore I just wanna say one thing to such people who're putting all their pathetic deeds on Allah that first check their own collars, as simple as that. If those people didn't support such janitor minded people allowed to take a pew on our heads, things would not been that bad.

I am not fan of comparison all the time but lets see the example of Sri Lanka for instance, those who've been there would agree how much it rains there and in Southern India, although corruption prevails there as well, but they have worked really hard on their drainage systems as well, instead of playing musical chair games of shifting and modifying the blames, they could had worked on the drainage systems of atleast Karachi city, 2006-07 than 2009 and now 2011, within 5 years we had 3 instances of such catastrophic situation in the province and in the city itself, so is it to be blamed to Almighty Allah or should we also check our own collars where we're headed to??

I want to be neutral on this arena but I've to admit and confess that during the era and regime of Former Mayor Karachi Mustafa Kamal when such thing happened, he took prompt actions, bulldozing encroachments on the most posh' areas of Karachi like Clifton and DHA areas which were heavily politicized encroachments but he took such prompt actions and result of which was that next years i.e. in 2007 and 2008, the situation was not that bad and within hours the flow of traffic was resumed on the busiest routes of Karachi, I myself experienced on thing when I was stuck in Urdu Bazaar which is in the center of Saddar Town, that time my mommy called me saying not to take NIPA route, it takes 15 minutes on normal circumstances for me to reach NIPA from Urdu Bazaar, that day took 1 hour and 15 minutes approximate but by that time NIPA was all cleared and their tractors and machineries were packing up their work, keeping in mind that time there were work going on at NIPA bridge like making it a signal free zone and installation of pedestrian crossings, that work was also going on and apart from that cleaning up the mess due to rain, simultaneously. When this city is giving so much to everyone than why can't we give this city, only some of our contribution?

We're totally illiterate although on paper we have degrees like MBA's, BBA's, BS, MS etc but our thinking is like of that person who sells fruit, lets be honest we don't have the manners of what possessed by "Literate People", we run from acquiring education, than we expect to have forgiveness on behalf of the Holy Prophet (Peace be Upon Him), whose very first Wahi was to Read. On what grounds are we going to even face him when we're so pathetic in our thinking, we're hypocrite, we're thieves, we're selfish and we don't think for others when there's some advantage for us, not we take care of such things that how he/she'd be feeling when we'd be showing off in front of that person!!! I just want to ask these "honourable" politicians one single and simple thing, that it's said that a responsibility falls onto your shoulders when you acquire a higher seat, than why aren't you not fulfilling the responsibilities come with that seat? Is politics and the political party more important that fulfilling your responsibility? Are we living in the era of Socialism, where government was responsible for each and everything, no one could acquire even a piece of land within the limit, or Capitalism where capitalists ruled the economy or is it mixed economy system, where Government plays the role of monitoring authority? The fault lies here, which is being diverted by saying it's a curse from heavens. Although I'm and I'll be admitting this, it is a clear indication from up-heavens to keep our accounts clear but saying it's just because of curse from heaven and nothing else is hypocrisy.

Sorry if I used tough language, but people around me are acting weird saying holy crap etc. Were we ready with tackling such situation? Are we utilizing the young population in the country with their innovative ideas and capabilities? Have we expanded the education level? It's a lamest of excuse that because of Security conditions both within the country and with India, we can't invest in education, you say India, the Indian education level is much better than us, their publishers' printed books are being taught here, they're also in state of war with us, but equally they've been more sincere to their nation than our leaders.

Take care and remember me in your prayers!

Possession, grabbing tactics in the city

Using direct approach in official communication terms, I am bluntly saying that what happening in Karachi is because the presence of so many different political parties in the city, they are responsible for what is happening in the city. Everyone is trying its best to have hold and possession of this city, because possession of this city means you've captured half of Pakistan and most probably in a position to capture the whole.

Why I am saying like this?
Karachi no doubt is a hen,
that lays golden eggs
I don't know these illiterate politicians think their planning aren't gonna be exposed! Honestly, tell me a thing, that transport in Karachi is owned by ANP, (which claims that its the party for majority of Pukhtoons in Karachi), they're currently in the Provincial Government of Sindh alongwith PPP, so banning pillion riding again and again IN KARACHI only means that there's someone personal motives behind it, honestly tell me whoever is a bike rider, if he takes another person with him on bike, it divides their own bike fare to that place and plus it'll save some time compared to public transport. Like I give my personal experience, my university from my home is about 28-29 kilometers, the time it took me to reach my university on bike was approximate 29-30 minutes, provided traffic load variation, means approximate 1 kilometer/minute is an average, with approximate 38 Rs. for one day home-university-home trip, once when because of petrol pumps closed in Karachi for 2 days, I had chance to travel in a bus, and god swear it was a pain traveling in pre-historic era public transport, ok I'd had bear that pain if it had dropped me on time, which was not the case as even though I took a 1.30 Hrs time duration, but still they made me miss a slot of mine, plus Rs. 35/- only one way trip, return meant Rs. 70/-.

Secondly one of my classmate who lives on my way to the university, in normal circumstances, I'd had picked him up and so we both share the bike petrol expenses, and reach on time, so because of NOT HAVING BAN on bike riding means public transport are not getting equal amount passengers, so because of that ban the only beneficiaries are public transport who're owned by ANP. Plus on the regime of Former Mayor of Karachi City, Mustafa Kamal, ANP opposed the idea of equipping the city with mass-transit around and inside the city, because that meant that their passengers would divert to mass-transit, which was supposed to be fast, swift and economical.

Transportation situation here in Karachi
not upto the total span of the city
Thirdly their hypocrisy is exposed when they're charging amounts because of hike in the prices of the Diesel in International Market, but literally they're running their pre-historic vehicles on CNG (Compressed/Cooled Natural Gas), which is approximate 30 Rupees cheaper than Petrol and Diesel approximate, and therefore they've been acting like underground Mafia, who want everyone to act like they wanted to.

Pathetic state of mind!
Plus they say of deweaponizing the city, but because they're in power in the city, they've the privilege of mobilizing of weapons from outside the city into the city, everyone will agree with me that weaponizing started in Karachi because of inclusion of such criminal characters into the city with backing from the former, else without the backing of such people, criminal elements can't stay in the city, and this political party is supporting them so that they can capture the city, the already confessed that weapons are their jewels. Plus Plus Plus! They say migrants from India ruined Karachi else it was best place, let me tell you one thing, it were the migrants which possessed educated background, else Karachi was a Baloch Town named on a Baloch Mai Kolachi, so how and why they say they were there, when migrants came to Karachi. These were the people, who scrapped the already installed Tram system across the city, because of the fact that they wanted to get the control over transport and other things, as they knew mentally and educationally, they can't capable of compete with them (mind you I am only criticizing the political leadership, not Pukhtoon Nation, as I feel Pukhtoon Nation and their leadership are two different things, not every Pukhtoon is like that, even if I am alive right now because of a Pukhtoon, who helped me get away from the troubled site on the eve of Assassination of Benazir Bhutto on 27th December 2007, when I was returning from B.Com teacher's home, that's why I owe alot to Pukhtoons, but their leadership unfortunately is vice versa)

Confession - have to admit that!!!
Pakistani politics in such a pathetic state of mind, this morning I just received a message on my cell phone, which explains the situation in Karachi perfectly, that a person in hell called US, he was cost 300 that call, some days later he called UK, it cost 250, but when he called Karachi the next day, it cost 1 Rupee, that man got astonished and asked hell demon how's it so? They replied, hell-to-hell are charged on local call tariff. Amusing but its reality, and its not because of one political party, but almost all political parties have black sheeps in their line-up, everyone is trying to get hold of the city into their grasps, that's why they are injecting their vote bank into Karachi (without giving them facility of living standards, etc just for fulfilling their political motives), this is what being happening in Karachi, and alongwith those migrants, criminal elements also enter the city, and after making hideouts in the city they start their activities and play their dirty games.

Where's the Pakistan flag????
